After news of the newest Fortnite blaster appeared on the internet yesterday (including my inbox while I was at work), I figured Id wait a day and compile info on the various blasters were expecting next year. Hasbro now has two lines of video game blaster adaptations going, with three blasters officially announced so far. Heres the collective scoop on everything!
Fortnite AR-L Blaster
(HASBRO/Ages 8 & Up/Approx. Retail
It’s NERF or NOTHING when it comes to creating epic Fortnite fights in real-life. The NERF FORTNITEAR-L blaster is inspired by the famous Fortnite weapon. It features rapid-fire motorized blasting, flip-up sights and flip-up sights. This allows players to concentrate their aim while they take out opponents and survive the Storm. Fortnite players can use the NERF FORTNITE AR–L blaster with a 10-dart clip, 20 ELITE darts and a 20-dart attachment. Not included: 4 AA batteries. Available June 1 at all major toy retailers across the country and on HasbroToyShop.com
Following recent blaster patterns, the AR-L will be powered by 4 AA batteries. Its admittedly much larger than I was expecting, but that fits the desired motif perfectly. Presumably, the bottom of the clip is cosmetic, and you can use regular Nstrike clips as well.
Overwatch Blasters
Both of these blasters fire Rival balls, presumably from a Kronos-like setup (internal mag, manual priming). They are expected, we just know this.
Reapers Shotgun
The Wight Reaper Blaster, the first of the series, was created in collaboration between Blizzard Entertainment (NERF Rival) and NERF Rival to bring the iconic Overwatchaccessories to life. The Overwatchlogo will be customized for each blaster and includes NERF RIVAL rounds. The blaster can hold eight NERF RIVAL round, and it can propel at a speed of up to 27.4 m/s. The blaster will have a spring-action mechanism and a ready indicator.

D. Va Blaster
TheD.VABlaster 2 is the latest in the series, created in collaboration between Blizzard Entertainment (NERF Rival) and NERF Rival to bring iconicOverwatchaccessories alive. The Overwatchlogo will be customized for each blaster and NERF RIVAL rounds. The blaster holds three NERF RIVAL rounds, and blasts at a velocity of up to 24.4 m per second. The blaster will be equipped with a spring-action mechanism and a ready indicator. It also features D.VA’s signature bunny charm.
